Serving uninsured patients with a culture of caring.
We’re volunteers for you.
Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) San Diego is a nonprofit medical clinic serving low-income, uninsured families in San Diego County, California. We care for people who do not qualify for Medicare and have no insurance of any kind.
We do this by engaging volunteer doctors, nurses, therapists, pharmacists, interpreters and other community members who have a passion for our mission and demonstrate the “Culture of Caring” and kindness on which the VIM Clinic was founded.

How can I help?
You can help VIM by volunteering, making a donation or advocating for VIM in the community. We are always looking for volunteers with a variety of skills and experience from doctors and nurses to support staff. If you have an interest in improving the health of our community or even if you just want to connect with some great people, call or email us to see how you can get involved!
