The Volunteers in Medicine medical offices are located at 1457 ½ East Madison Ave., El Cajon, adjacent to the United Methodist Chapel of the Valley church. From west or central El Cajon, take I-8 East and exit at Second Street. Turn right and go to Madison Ave, then left about half a mile to 1457 ½ E. Madison. Look for the blue-and-white church on the right. From south or east El Cajon, take E. Main Street to Madison Ave. Turn east and go half a block to the church on the right.

Alternately coming from the west, take I-8 East Greenfield exit. Left off the ramp, left again at Main, proceed about half a mile and then left on Madison. The church parking lot is on the right, half a block.

To use public transit from El Cajon Transit Center take the Madison Ave. shuttle (Route 873) or the Kaiser Permanente Bostonia shuttle (Route 815). Exit at Madison/E. Main.

Appointments to see a doctor must be made in advance by calling the clinic at (619) 440 - 4591 and leaving a message which will be quickly returned - or - by calling 211 and asking for Volunteers in Medicine, or by calling ReachOut for Healthcare at 800-327-1207.

    Wednesday 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
    Saturday 8:00 a.m. – Noon.
